Project Overview

For the launch of Teamworks’ Unified Mobile App (UMA), I designed a social teaser that translated a key visual moment from a presentation at an event into a motion-driven asset for LinkedIn and X.

The concept originated from a static sequence I created for a session during the Teamworks UNITE26 event, where multiple Teamworks products visually converged into a single unified app across a two-slide sequence. My goal was to adapt that moment into a short-form animation that could communicate the same transformation quickly and clearly for a social audience. Because the asset would be distributed globally and viewed without context beyond a social caption, the narrative needed to be visually intuitive and universally understandable.

The final teaser uses motion, UI elements, and progressive reveals to illustrate the shift from multiple disconnected apps to one unified Teamworks experience. The piece served as a top-of-funnel launch asset, helping introduce the idea of a connected operating system for athlete operations.

Approach

To translate the original keynote moment into a short-form social asset, I began by breaking the concept into a clear narrative sequence through storyboarding. Each beat of the animation was mapped out to mirror the transformation shown in the deck: starting with multiple Teamworks apps coexisting in a mobile folder, then progressively converging into a single unified experience.

The storyboard process allowed me to define both the visual pacing and the role of sound design early in development. Key moments, such as individual app icons activating, the convergence into one unified app, and the transition into the in-app notification view, were paired with planned sound cues to reinforce each step of the narrative. These beats helped guide the viewer through the progression from fragmentation to cohesion while maintaining a rhythm that worked within a short social format.

From there, the animation moves into the product interface, revealing connected notifications and workflows that demonstrate the value of the unified platform. The sequence resolves with a text-driven moment that reinforces the launch message, “One Teamworks App.” Together, the visuals, motion pacing, and sound cues work to communicate the platform shift quickly and clearly for a social audience.
